well, hello there.

i haven't posted in nearly a year, though that's going to change as of right now (i'd imagine). here is some recent-ish art, a few random things from the past 6 months or so. i will be producing stuff that's actually good soon? i hope? so i will post that. also, i need to pick up a moleskine sketchbook, then i will be posting pages from it.

i just took these pictures of my friend ruby, and i couldn't help but post them. there will be more pictures from today on flickr soon, and i am currently working on two series that i am excited to show everyone.

i'll be taking pictures of my other art and posting them soon because i don't have a scanner.

i've been more busy than i could've ever imagined. i've been going to a lot of shows (edward sharpe & the magnetic zeros, lemonade, small black, MNDR, and last night, phoenix!) and i've been exploring this crazy city and all of its kitschy intricacies with wonder and amazement. every day i have a moment of pure cathartic love for this wonderland.

here are a couple of 35mm shots from the other day, the rest of the set is on my flickr, as usual. also, i don't post photos from every set up here, so keep checking it out for new ones!

ok, i feel bad for not updating, but i have been incredibly busy preparing to move 3000 miles across the country. i have 4 new sets: the second batch from edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros at the hammer, a photoshoot i did at art center, and two batches from each day of sunset junction. i took a picture from each so you can preview, and you should go check them all out on my flickr!

eskimos and zeros (pt 1)

i went to the hammer museum on thursday and saw eskimohunter for the first time, and edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros (for the third time! :) ) where i proceeded to take pictures in between dancing my ass off and enjoying every minute of the show. i only got one roll developed tonight, and the other will come tomorrow, so i will add those pictures to the same set and either edit this post or create another one.

oh and there are a couple shots of my good friend mac pearce getting his hair cut.

my friends in nacosta let me come to their practice yesterday and i took some nice shots of them. the place was really tiny, but it doesn't look like it in these.
